Card Counting Lab is a free, browser-based educational tool. We designed it to collect as little as possible — which turns out to be nothing.
What we collect
Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no forms, no cookies set by us, no analytics scripts, and no advertising trackers. The site makes no network requests to any third party.
Local storage
Your game preferences (table rules, language, deal speed, session statistics) are saved in your browser's localStorage so the trainer remembers your settings between visits. This data never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it completely.
Hosting
The site is served by Netlify, whose infrastructure may process standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect against abuse, as described in Netlify's privacy policy.
Children
The site is intended for adults (18+). It uses fictional practice chips only and involves no real-money gambling.
Changes
If we ever add features that touch personal data, this page will be updated first and the change will be noted here.
